In my country there is no Azerbaijan embassy, what I need to to get Visa?
Answer: Residance of countries that doesn’t have Azerbejan embassy can get Visa on arrival at airport in Baku.
Can I obtain a Visa at airport in Baku instead to go to Azerbaijan embassy in my home country?
Answer: The Ministry of Youth and Sports will send letters and list of participants of Baku Froum to State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Republic and the participants will be able to get a Visa at the airport. The all participants will have this kind of invitation letter.
Are the abstracts meant to be for oral communications or poster presentations instead?
Answer: Just some of selected abstract will be oral communicated all the rest will be published in the conference proceedings.
If they are for oral communications, how long should the presentations last for?
Answer: If your abstract been selected you will be communicated about all details. Oral presentation should not be more than 20min.
When it says “all expenses of the participants will be covered”, does he term “participant” apply only to people giving presentations (either oral or poster, should that be the case), or are attendants with no presentation to give included?
Answer: All participants that will be selected no matter if they have extended abstract or not or if they presenting their paper or not will have all covered costs.
Regarding travel expenses, how would they be covered? Should the participants purchase their own flight and then the organization will refund the costs? Or does it work otherwise?
Answer: Azerbaijan Young Scientists, Postgraduate and Masters Union will buy flight tickets for all selected participants. (More details about this question will be available soon)
